Gökova - Akyaka
In the time that Gokova.com has been online, several visitors have asked us the difference between Gokova and Akyaka.
Gökova and Akyaka are actually two different towns but it is not so easy to seperate one from the other.We tried to list the main things in order to explain differences below:
Gökova
is the name of the bay where it is also situated ( Kerme Bay)
is the name of the platoo where it is also situated
is the name of a small town/village located in Gokova Platoo
Akyaka
is a touristic town located at the end of Gökova Bay
is and was the place that people from Mugla come but before described " I'm going to Gökova"
The distance between Gökova Village and Akyaka is around 6 km.
Akyaka - Kozlukuyu - Gökova - Akçapınar are small towns close to each other and located in Gökova Platoo.
